Visa & Relocation FAQ

What is your current visa status?
I am a dual citizen of Germany and Brazil. I am currently seeking a job offer to apply to the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV).
Why the South Island of New Zealand?
My wife and I are seeking to settle in a safe, developed, and beautiful environment (the mountains and the sea!) with a polite culture and a good work-life balance. Having lived in Germany, I prefer colder climates and a quiet lifestyle. We are available for immediate relocation to support a South Island organization's long-term growth.
How does Computer Science background fit into Front-Office?
As an ENFJ-T "Protagonist Personality," I thrive on social engagement rather than desk-bound corporate roles. My IT degree is being completed to ensure technical proficiency and finally solve the problem of lack of a proper Diploma in my CV. In practice, it allows me to master Property Management Systems (PMS) and logistical workflows significantly faster than average, besides allowing me to better make data driven decisions when in position to do so.
Do you have a Driver's License?
I hold full, clean German (EU) and Brazilian licenses (Categories A and B). This qualifies me for New Zealand Class 1 and 6 equivalents (I believe EU licenses are recognized without the need for futher classes and tests, which allows me to hold a valid NZ License in under 2 weeks), ensuring I am operationally ready for roles involving vehicle handling or fleet coordination.
What is your readiness and relocation timeline?
I am ready to move within 2 weeks after the Visa is granted. Relocation assistance is welcome, but not strictly required (I have some experience in it already).
What is your approach to clients' complaints or high-pressure situations?
As an ENFJ (Protagonist), my natural instinct is to de-escalate through empathy. I view a complaint as an opportunity to turn a dissatisfied guest into a loyal advocate. I stay calm under pressure by focusing on the solution rather than the stress of the moment.
Your Personality test says you tend to freeze when facing difficult decisions. How would that affect your work?
For an analytical person like me, difficult decisions are decisions which I have difficulty to foresee the outcomes and ramifications. In an environment with clear values and priorities, foresee such outcomes becomes easier, which makes the decision processes clearer, simpler and faster.
